The standard 35" × 50" apron covers from the chest down to about mid-thigh on an average-height adult — perfect for food prep, deli counters, butcher work, and most kitchen production. The longer 35" × 60" version extends down past the knee, ideal for taller staff, sanitation crews dealing with significant splash, or operations with frequent bending and lifting where shorter aprons ride up. Both come 100 per case.
For most operations, the math strongly favors disposable. A reusable apron program requires uniform laundering contracts, replacement budgets, lifecycle tracking for HACCP records, and dedicated changing zones. Disposable aprons eliminate all of that — a fresh apron for every shift, every task, with zero washing logistics. The per-use cost is significantly lower than a reusable program when you factor in laundry overhead.
Polyethylene is fully waterproof and resists most food-grade fluids, mild acids, and sanitizing chemicals. They're not suitable for harsh industrial chemicals or high-heat environments — for those, you need vinyl or neoprene aprons. But for the 95% of food, healthcare, and general sanitation work, PE is the right material at the right price.
For staff doing wet work that involves the forearms (washing produce, handling raw protein, deep cleaning), pair PE aprons with our PE Sleeves — disposable polyethylene sleeves that extend the apron's protection up to the elbows. Many operations issue both together as a standard wet-work kit.
