The three sizes aren't arbitrary — each maps to a different operational use. 8 oz is the espresso/water/quick-coffee size, common in offices and break rooms where staff want a small refill rather than a sustained cup. 12 oz is the standard medium — typical for office drip coffee, tea, and most hot beverage service. 16 oz is the full-size cup for cold drinks, large coffees, smoothies, and any sustained-sip use. Most facilities stock all three; some standardize on 12 oz alone for simplicity.
The food-safe coating handles both hot beverages (coffee, tea, hot chocolate) and cold drinks (water, juice, iced tea). For very cold drinks with extended sit time (iced coffee, smoothies above 30 minutes) condensation can soften the cup over time — for those applications, double-cupping or a sleeve solves the issue. For typical office and food-service use, single-cup is fine.
CLW paper cups meet food-contact safety standards for direct beverage service. Disposable single-use by design — appropriate for high-traffic environments where dishwashing labour or sanitation concerns rule out reusable cups. For environments concerned with paper waste, the case quantities are designed for genuine consumption; we don't push pallets at facilities that don't need them.
1,000 cups per case is the facility-supply standard — fits into most stockrooms without dominating shelf space, lasts a typical office of 50 staff roughly two months at moderate consumption (2–3 cups per person per day). High-volume operations like cafés, healthcare cafeterias, and large corporate campuses typically order multi-case quantities. Mix-and-match ordering supported across the CLW paper category — combine cups with hand towels, toilet paper, and other paper supplies.
